She praised the resilience and achievements of women and urged renewed commitment to learning opportunities that enable long-term social progress in Rawalpindi and beyond.

Azra Tariq stressed that women’s education builds confidence and independence while creating role models who uplift others. ‘As a woman and an educator, I strongly believe that education empowers women to become confident, independent and capable of shaping a brighter future,’ she said, noting that educated women transform their own lives and inspire entire communities.

Recognised locally as a hardworking educationist, Azra Tariq remarked that women today contribute across every field, working side by side with men and proving their capabilities through dedication and determination. She extended warm greetings to women across Pakistan and paid tribute to those who continue to break barriers despite social and economic challenges.

As head of Rawalpindi Public School and College she emphasized that investing in girls’ education is among the most powerful steps toward a better future. Azra Tariq called on families, educators and community leaders to keep supporting women’s education and to open more pathways for women into leadership, professional roles and higher studies.
