The District Health Office Islamabad organised a free medical camp at the G-6 Aabpara Community Centre to diagnose and treat pollen allergy, offering timely assessments, free medicines and public awareness to local residents.
Under the supervision of specialist doctors and trained medical staff, attendees received allergy tests, free medication and personalised medical guidance so they could recognise pollen allergy symptoms early and adopt appropriate precautions. More than 700 residents were examined and provided necessary care during the camp.
Health teams explained common signs such as sneezing, a runny nose, itchy or watery eyes and breathing difficulties, and advised citizens to limit unnecessary outdoor exposure during pollen season, wear masks, protect the eyes and consult a doctor when symptoms appear.
Dr Syeda Rashida Batool, District Health Officer Islamabad, said the office remains committed to raising public awareness about seasonal allergies and ensuring access to quality health services so residents can protect their wellbeing through early diagnosis and preventive measures.
She urged people to visit nearby health centres at the first sign of an allergic reaction. Attendees welcomed the free services and awareness efforts and expressed gratitude to the Ministry of National Health and the District Health Office Islamabad for the support and outreach.
